The book is a collection of poems of a tragic Soviet Victims. Close to 120 soviet Georgian political prisoners, among them numerous writers and poets and of those associated with them, were politically repressed during Soviet Regime. Georgian author and a researcher of this subject, Revaz Kverenchkhiladze obtained invaluable first-hand information of these tragic events when he was granted unrestricted access in 1991 to study over 50 volumes of the "Writers' cases" compiled by the Georgian people's Commissariat for internal Affairs (the early Soviet Counterpoint of the ministry of Internal Affairs) . in this small book he collected poems found in Documents hidden for many years from public and they only were available to research for Revaz after Soviet Union Collapse. The author has few narratives on the documentary evidence researched in the archives of the Union of Writers of Georgia, Especially, its confidential sections, as well as on countless periodical publications and manuscripts and personal recollections of those who suffered Soviet political repressions directly. Revaz Kverenchkhiladze is uniquely qualified to bring these stories to the reading public as he has been studding the matter since graduating from the Tbilisi State University in 1952. During his 40 plus years with the Union of Writers of Georgia, he authored three books on various writers' organizations, published 100 articles, and delivered numerous lectures at the Union of Writes of Georgia. for his dedication to keep the tragic history alive for the posterity Revaz Kverenchkhiladze was awarded the medal of Merit (2003) Title of the Keeper of the Georgian Culture (2010) and NIko NIkoladze Prize (2012).
